An integrated workspace environment, Winstep Xtreme is a powerful suite of applications that merge incredible usability and performance with breathtaking eye candy.
Xtreme runs on the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8.x and 10.
v18.10 adds the ability to grayscale and colorize icons manually or automatically based on your current wallpaper or Windows 10 accent color (great for colorizing minimalistic themes with monochrome icons), icons in Shelves to be centered or right justified, menus to be scaled up to 200 percent, the height of Drawers to be fine tuned, improved handling of Win32 applications wrapped as UWP apps, and much more!

What's New? Highlighted Features:
- Center icons in Shelves.
By popular demand, you can now left, center and right justify the icons in Shelves:
- Icon colorization.
Icons can now be colorized with a specific color or automatically based on your current wallpaper or Windows 10 accent color, using one of three different methods (Tint, Hue, Tone).
No Colorization

Grayscale
Results depend on what type of icons you've put in the dock to begin with and the colorization method used.
Hue colorization is great for backgrounds and pretty much useless for icons, Tint works best for color and white monochrome icons and Tone should be used when the original icons are solid black. Using black as the Tint color allows you to quickly grayscale all the icons.
- Menu Scaling.
NextSTART menus and WorkShelf context menus can now be manually scaled by up to 200 per cent. Very useful if suffering from poor eyesight or when dealing with themes originally intended for very low screen resolutions.
- Drawer resizing.
The height of the new Drawers can now be fine tuned by changing the vertical icon spacing (Drawer Properties dialog -> Appearance tab -> Icon Spacing).
The default height of Drawers has also been slightly reduced in relation to the previous version - if you prefer the previous size, simply increase the vertical icon spacing by 20 pixels.
- Improved Shelf Scrolling.
Shelves can be expanded to show more than one row of icons by double clicking the tab header or manually dragging it upwards. Because Shelves are also able to show the contents of folders, a single tab can hold hundreds of icons and many icon rows.
To help navigate tabs with many icon rows, pressing the SHIFT key while clicking on a Shelf or Drawer's scroll arrow now scrolls a full page of icons. Pressing CTRL scrolls to the end or beginning of the tab.
- Improved hybrid Win32/UWP app handling.
Winstep applications are unique in their category because they're able to handle UWP apps in Windows 10 like normal Win32 applications.
Some applications you find in the Windows Store are actually Win32 applications wrapped in a UWP package. This could cause problems when trying to pin them to the dock or to the taskbar: they would be pinned as a Win32 applications instead of UWP, which then prevented them from being launched properly. This release solves this issue and now treats hybrid Win32/UWP apps like native UWP apps.
- New Alarm Snooze options.
The snooze range of alarms has now been extended to 24 hours. By clicking on the small settings icon of the alarm itself, you can now change the snooze duration of that alarm from minutes to up to 24 hours.

WorkShelf v18.10 complete change log:
- Updated Portuguese language file.
- Added new 'Create Drawer from Dock' context menu option to docks.
- Added new 'Create Drawer from this tab' context menu option to Shelves.
- Added new 'Make Shelf tab from this Drawer' context menu option to Drawers.
- Added ability to colorize icons with one of three different methods (Tint, Hue, Tone) manually with a solid color or automatically with the dominant color of the current desktop wallpaper or the system Accent color (Windows 10).
- If Weather.com returns valid weather data but N/A for the current temperature, the weather module will now fall back on the redundant MSN and Yahoo weather feeds.
- Default height of Drawers reduced by 20 pixels.
- Height of Drawers can now be increased or decreased by modifying the vertical icon spacing.
- Pressing SHIFT while clicking on a Shelf or Drawer's scroll arrow now scrolls a full page of icons. Pressing CTRL scrolls to the end or beginning.
- Icons in a Shelf can now centered and right justified by selecting the appropriate option in the Appearance tab of the Shelf Properties dialog. When centered no icon grid is displayed.
- Added new 'Icon Alignment' sub-menu to a Shelf's main right click/left mini-tab context menu.
- Skinners can now set an exact color for the zodiac sign in the desktop Moon Phase module.
- The Weather forecast subdock now also opens automatically if sub-docks are set to open on mouseover.
- When deleting a Regular type tab in the Contents tab of a Shelf/Drawer Properties dialog, the user is no longer asked for confirmation if that tab has no content.
- Changed shape and size of dock label balloon backgrounds.
- The Snooze duration in the Alarm Settings panel of the Alarm itself can now be set up to 24 hours (the slider counts minutes up to 59 and starts counting in hour intervals after that).
- Menus can now be manually scaled by up to 200% (More Options dialog of General tab in Preferences).
- Added ability to customize the Zodiacal signs shown on the Desktop Moon module by including a wsZodiac.png sign sheet, which can be 3x4, 4x3 or even 1x12. The first sign in the sheet should be Aries, then Taurus, Gemini, etc... Following the right sign order is critical, but other than that if the first image is not Aries you can also specify a 'MoonSignOffset=x' parameter to offset the signs (e.g.; if the first image is Pisces, then Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc, then MoonSignOffset should be set to 1).
- Dock right click context menus should no longer overlap dock icons when open, especially for docks at the bottom of the screen
- The 'Make dock from this tab' option in the Shelf's tab context menu no longer worked and could potentially corrupt an existing dock.
- The application might fail to enter or exit a Power Saving mode when configured to do so for full screen applications if the game changed the screen resolution or otherwise signaled a display change.
- Fixed issue that could cause dragging an open Drawer into a new position on the screen very difficult.
- On Windows 10 hybrid UWP/Win32 apps were not being handled properly. They could be pinned to the dock but trying to run them would only result in an error message that the path or file is not accessible being displayed.
- Desktop Moon Phase module was displaying the wrong zodiacal sign.
- When dragging an item over a Drawer, the Drawer was automatically inserting a blank insertion point even if the Drawer type did not allow drag & drop operations.
- The right click menu option for changing playlist of the built-in Media Player wasn't doing anything if a music was playing or the Media Player was paused.
- Fixed issue that only happened on some systems where the icons on a Drives tab of the Shelf would become corrupt after expanding the Shelf.
- Fixed several misc.visual issues related to menu scaling on high DPI settings.
NextSTART v18.10 complete change log:
